Eric Trump Called Us Today

For those of you who may not regularly listen to our radio show (93WIBC), you’re missing out on seriously awesome and fun commentary about politics and pop culture. And I’m not even just saying that. Last year, we won the Indiana Broadcasters’ Association Spectrum Award for Best Radio Personality/Team in the state’s top markets. And this year, we’ve been nominated again, so we’ll be attending the awards ceremony next month to see if we can hold on to our title for a 2nd year in a row.

During our show today, due to a booking mix-up, we unexpectedly got a call from Eric Trump, and you guys, he was SO FUN to talk to. If you’re a regular listener, you know that Producer Rob often jokes that President Trump is his “real dad” and he plays Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You whenever he reads one of Trump’s tweets during our Speedround (which airs at 10.30am ET M-F). Producer Rob got to interview Donald Trump during the primary campaign season in 2016, and reminds us (and anyone else who’ll listen) of that EVERY CHANCE HE GETS. So as we were chatting with Eric today, Producer Rob kept flailing his arms and looking pleadingly at us, mouthing, “Please let me talk to him” so that we finally had to let him. And hilarity ensued. You should check out the whole segment, because Eric was great. And he was great with Rob too.
