Alec Baldwin is an insufferable jerk. He really thinks he’s something, with his crappy Trump impression and all. And you know what else? Black people love it too! At least, according to Alec.
“I don’t know how to say this and I don’t want to get it wrong either, because everything is a minefield of bombs going off, but ever since I played Trump, black people love me. They love me,” he said, according to the Hollywood Reporter. “Everywhere I go, black people go crazy. I think it’s because they’re most afraid of Trump. I’m not going to paint every African-American person with the same brush, but a significant number of them are sitting there going, ‘This is going to be bad for black folks.'”
He doesn’t want to paint every African-American person with the same brush, but also yes he does because he just did. And no– he was NOT in character when he said that.

That seems to be the mood across the board.
Good job, Alec.
