Democrats Call For ‘Unity And Civility’ … Tucker Calls Their Bluff

Democrats have been hypocritically calling for “unity and civility” in the wake of Senator John McCain’s death…

It didn’t take them long to drop the whole “unity and civility” CHARADE and start screaming at the top of their lungs at Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings, did it?

Tucker takes on their BLATANT double standard:

“As you know, Capitol Hill was in chaos today thanks to the first day of hearings for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Just a few days ago, you may remember – that was history – but see if you can recall talking heads telling you that John McCain’s funeral, if it meant anything, meant that unity and civility had to return to Washington.”

Tucker then played clips of MULTIPLE Democrats calling for “putting country over party” “unity” and “bipartisanship.”

Compare that to what we keep seeing at the hearings… and it looks like SOMEONE was full of sh*t!

“Country over party, that did not happen today,” Tucker points out.  “Senate Judiciary chairman Chuck Grassley of Iowa could not even get the hearing started without being interrupted repeatedly by his Democratic colleagues.”

“So, it wasn’t a good day for bipartisanship.”

Not a good day, not a good week, not a good year.

Is “bipartisanship” as we know it dead? Will things get ANY better before they get much, much worse?
