So… this is a thing now:
“I am 23 and I have killed 3 babies. YES I HAVE!” pic.twitter.com/rds4MalH3v

Wow…
Just wow.
See… what I hear is:
“I am 23, and I am incapable of learning lessons.”
“I am 23, and I am completely unaccountable for my actions.”
“I am 23, and I MIIIIGHT just be a sociopath.”
I checked out the website, because I just couldn’t wrap my head around this being REAL.
Oh, it’s real:

…Speechless.
“15 different forms of birth control….(not including just saying, “No.”)And they want to brag about not having the good sense to choose none of them?”#shoutyourabortion

EXACTLY. This isn’t something to brag about. 3 abortions just proves you’re AN ACTUAL IDIOT.
Unfortunately for them (and fortunately for our SOCIETY) their hashtag is really, REALLY backfiring:
#ShoutYourAbortion is trending once again
I’ll shout how @PPFA lied & told me I couldn’t see my child on the monitor @ 8 weeks.
Shout that I was told no refund if I didnt have the abortion adding to the pressure.
Shout how they dont care about you once you leave w/o your baby.

#ShoutYourAbortion: The greatest joy I never could imagine came from a very unplanned pregnancy. I was terrified (and had every reason to be), but I chose to believe it was a gift. Everyday is happier, better because of her!

Whether you’re pro-life or pro-choice, the #ShoutYourAbortion movement should cause us to pause & consider what’s being celebrated. I know women who have had abortions, & bragging about it is the last thing they want to do. Celebrating the termination of life is sad & misguided.

I was 21 & homeless when I was pregnant with my daughter. Her father and I are now happily married. We’ve had to move 1200 miles away from family in order to provide everything we can for her. It was a rough journey, but she’s worth it. #ShoutForLife #ShoutYourAbortion #ProLife

Even pro-choicers with half a brain realize this is messed up:
I am pro choice and I donate to PP every single month. However this #shoutyourabortion thing is grotesque. Ppl are making it seem like it’s this beautiful and normal thing. It’s not. It should be the very, very, very last option on any woman’s list of choices.

It’s encouraging to see more people have a NEGATIVE reaction to this than not…
But we still have SO much work to do.
