MSM Is FREAKING OUT Over The White House ‘Going After’ Legal Immigrants

I noticed Stephen Miller trending and KNEW something had to be up.

According to reports, White House senior adviser Stephen Miller has devised a plan to “limit the number of migrants who obtain legal status in the U.S. each year.”

But…there’s a catch. The Trump administration isn’t just doing this because it’s meeeeeaaaaaannnnnnnn and heartless. It would basically make it more difficult for legal immigrants– who are NOT yet citizens– to obtain citizenship if they’ve ever used US welfare programs. (Like if they’ve used food stamps or Obamacare or whatever.)

Using some public benefits like Social Security Insurance has already hindered immigrants from obtaining legal status in the past, but the programs included in the recent draft plan could mean that immigrant households earning as much as 250 percent of the poverty level could be rejected.

A version of the plan has been sent to the White House Office of Management and Budget, the sources said, the final step before publishing a rule in the federal register. Reuters first reported that the White House was considering such a plan in February.

People obviously have mixed feelings on this for various reasons. I don’t want to sound heartless, but I don’t really have a problem with them taking a closer look at this. If someone wants to obtain citizenship, and it looks like they’re going to be life long government leeches…that should be considered. Is that so bad? We need self-sufficient people coming into this country. It’s not to say that they might not need help at first– after all, we’re a compassionate nation– but I’m a big believer in a “hand up,” not a “hand out.”

“The administration is committed to enforcing existing immigration law, which is clearly intended to protect the American taxpayer by ensuring that foreign nationals seeking to enter or remain in the U.S are self-sufficient,” a spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security said, according to NBC News. “Any proposed changes would ensure that the government takes the responsibility of being good stewards of taxpayer funds seriously and adjudicates immigration benefit requests in accordance with the law.”

But like I said. People are freaking out.

Stephen Miller first came for undocumented immigrants and threw their children in cages. Now he’s persecuting immigrants who came here legally. Next he’ll come for non-white citizens. Then liberal whites. He won’t stop until America is the land of the KKK and neo-Nazis.
