A Fox News Anchor Might Be Replacing Sara Haines On ‘The View’

As I mentioned, Sarah Haines (who dat?) is leaving The View. (Seriously… has she been there all along? How am I only now noticing she’s in every clip? Does she ever add anything to the conversation? WHO IS SHE?)

Anyway… there are rumors that her spot might be taken by a FOX NEWS ANCHOR…

Which would be very, VERY interesting.

We’re talking MAJOR dynamic shift here.

According to Daily Wire:

On Monday, “The View” co-host Sara Haines announced that she is leaving the show and heading to “Good Morning America” to co-host alongside former NFL star Michael Strahan. “This has been a dream I’ve always had to be on this show. Every day I walk out here, I’ve never taken it for granted,” she said Monday.

The new GMA gig officially kicks off on September 10 for Haines.

So…who are people thinking will be her replacement?

Fox & Friends’ Abby Huntsman.

With Haines’ forthcoming departure, Fox News anchor Abby Huntsman might be the one pulling up the vacant seat at the famous roundtable, according to multiple sources at The Huffington Post.

“Fox & Friends weekend anchor co-anchor Abby Huntsman is in talks to jump ship from Fox News and take over for Haines on the high-profile ABC daytime show. Huntsman’s hire, if completed, would give The View a second conservative alongside Meghan McCain — which would undoubtedly change the dynamic of the show,” reports Mediaite.

YEEEEAH.

That would be SO interesting to see. Has ‘The View’ ever had more than one “token Conservative?”

This really wouldn’t be a surprising move given the addition of McCain gave the show a HUGE ratings boost.

Maybe two conservative heads are better than one?

A source at Fox, however, is casting doubt on this:

An anonymous source from Fox told HuffPo that Hunstsman would be “in breach of the contract and is not even in the appropriate time window to shop Abby to another network.”

Huntsman, a 32-year-old new mom, previously served as an MSNBC host and currently co-hosts “Fox & Friends Weekend.” Her father, Jon Huntsman, serves in the Trump Administration as Ambassador of the United States to Russia.
