Last week Senator John Fetterman took a spill after a “ventricular fibrillation flare-up,” but I am happy to report that the Pennsylvanian is now out of the hospital and doing well.
20 stitches later and a full recovery, I’m back home with @giselefetterman and the kids.

I’m overwhelmed + profoundly grateful for all the well-wishes.
Truly.
Grateful for @UPMC for the incredible medical care that put me back together.
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
See you back in DC. pic.twitter.com/j81LXZGLBx
After the fall, Fetterman seemed to be in good spirits, even cracking jokes about his appearance and saying, “If you thought my face looked bad before, wait until you see it now!”
No one likes to biff it, and it’s even more annoying when your face is involved. To top it off, Fetterman is a big dude (6’8”), so he had to have hit the ground like a ton of bricks. I’m wishing him a speedy recovery and no more health scares in the future. Get well soon, senator!
