Because of course they are. According to members of the LA City Council, the signs were put up in the 90s to keep members of the LGBT+ community from meeting up with one another. Ummmm…I feel like they were put up to keep people from making U-turns. Because that’s what they mean. But maybe I’m the dumb one here. Where did this even come from? I swear, people just want to be enraged about something that they just make up the most ridiculous things to see if they can also get others enraged with them. And for some reason, it works.
The LA City Council is removing “No U-Turn” signs because, of course, they offend people of the protected class.

This is real. It is Not the Bee.

The fact that this man goes by the name Maebe A. Girl is already infuriating enough. But then the words spewing out of his mouth make him a thousand times more insufferable. LA has so many other issues, like walking zombies high on drugs and defecating in the streets. Shouldn’t City Council be focusing their attention on more important things, like that? Instead of taking down TRAFFIC SIGNS that literally have nothing to do with the LGBT+ community.

First, there was Pete Buttgeig saying that the white lane markers were racist since they’re overlaid on black asphalt. That’s asinine, those markers show better against the dark surfaces they’re on. Danielle, you’re spot on about people looking for something to find fault with.
What about the “slow kids” signs (obviously ableist)?
Seriously, why are so many people so f—— stupid? (cue the Team America Kim Jong Ill song)
