Everyone Keeps Missing A Key Point In This Samantha Bee Thing…

I get it – Samantha Bee called Ivanka a feckless c*nt.  And yes – that’s a horrific word, unless you’re raving loonball Sally Fields:

Um, for all you regular, non-batsh*t people out there, that word is basically the most awful thing ever to call a woman.  I think we’ve established that.  Let’s move on.

Here’s the thing that’s really bothering me about Samantha Bee’s unwarranted, out-of-left field tirade against Ivanka.  She insinuated that Ivanka is having an INCESTUOUS RELATIONSHIP WITH HER FATHER.  I feel like I’m the only one who seems to want to focus on that, for some odd reason. Are we just gonna brush over that?  Because it needs to be discussed.

You know, we’ve had a crap ton of liberals coming at us the past few days (calling us c*nts of course).  I’m still trying to understand what the rules are for today (they change that frequently).  If you’re a liberal, you can call conservative women “c*nts” all you want.  No issue with that, apparently.  Duh.  But apparently, what I’m learning is that it’s even LESS of an issue for you to insinuate that they’re SLEEPING WITH THEIR FATHERS.  This is not even discussed.

So – could Mock and I use OUR platform to do that about Sasha and Malia?  Would that fly on our radio show?  You think we’d be out of a job if we joked and guffawed and carried on  about Malia getting into a skimpy dress and getting all sexy for Barack?

How would that fly, you think?

Because it’s freaking DESPICABLE, and it WOULDN’T FLY AT ALL.  In fact, THAT WOULD BE THE TOP STORY ABOVE THE C-WORD OMG.

But oh wait – Samantha Bee didn’t apologize for the insinuating-incest comments now, did she?  Nope…don’t see it here at all, do you?

I don’t think I missed anything.  Nope.  Nothing.

But I’m sure her apology was sinceeeeeeeeeeeeeere.

There is an absolute double standard in this country.  There’s a standard for conservatives, and there ISN’T one for liberals.  At all.  They get cover.  And if you’re a liberal woman?  You get cover upon cover upon cover.  If you can’t see that?  Then you’re as high as a Bernie supporter.  And you know what?  I really hope it bites the left directly in their collective butt again come election time – I’m pretty convinced at this point that it will.

Because the people who aren’t raving lunatics are downright sick of this crap.
