TMZ Staffers Are Triggered By Their Boss’ “Scandalous” Friendship

I read TMZ pretty frequently.

For one, it’s a good source for my posts. It’s also pretty funny.

I can tell you this… I’ve NEVER spotted a “pro-Trump” bias. And believe me… I’ve looked. Most posts that mention politics at all are neutral AT BEST, though frequently they’ll stick a Trump Derangement Syndrome – inspired jab in there.

Turns out TMZ founder Harvey Levin and President Trump have been friends for some time.

Funny thing is, most of Hollywood and the media elite LOVED Trump…until he ran for president as a REPUBLICAN. Unlike the majority of Hollywood, Harvey didn’t immediately turn his back on him.

I think that says a lot about Harvey…

And so does the TMZ staff. Though we seem to be in disagreement about what exactly that “says.”

According to BPR:

A new over-dramatic report focused on the “cozy relationship” between TMZ founder Harvey Levin and President Donald Trump claims the men have benefited from a friendship that has “paid off” for them both.

There is nothing new in the liberal media’s ongoing attempts to smear anyone having a relationship with Trump, but an extensive new report from The Daily Beast seems to taken it to another level.

The “celebrity gossip website went into overdrive” to cover for Trump due to his friendship with Levin, the report claimed, detailing how it provided cover during the election campaign after the release of the “Access Hollywood” tape and how Levin allegedly worked to discredit Trump’s sexual assault accusers.

Current and former sources at TMZ provided all the details to the Daily Beast’s Lachlan Cartwright who spun a tale of the site’s “pro-Trump transformation during the election under Levin.”

According to the Daily Beast:

After Jessica Leeds accused Trump of groping her on an airplane in the late 1970s, Levin personally called airlines to determine what happened.

“I remember when that woman started making allegations against Trump, Harvey made it a mission for days to discredit her,” a former staffer said. “In that instance he called airlines to ask what kind of armrests they were using at that time as this woman had said she was assaulted by Trump on a plane after he lifted the armrest up. Harvey personally called airlines.

“Harvey was convinced that when this incident occurred armrests didn’t lift up. He wanted to find a way to say she’s a liar.”

I’m sorry… but has anyone stopped to think that Levin just wanted THE TRUTH?

If the accuser’s story WAS BS because the armrests indeed didn’t move… shouldn’t people be praising Levin for his honest investigative work?

Nope… it sounds like any attempt at honesty that may possibly “help” Trump is looked at as treason.

Apparently the friendship between Trump and the 67-year-old Levin was the kiss of death at TMZ as it “destroyed newsroom morale and led to the departure of several key staffers.”

Good riddance, ya LUNATICS.

“The handling of a tip about another purportedly toxic tape, on top of the ‘Access Hollywood’ footage, would further demoralize staffers,” the report said dramatically, even claiming that Levin, a former television reporter, “has long held an interest in political scandal.”

The report did not stop there, pressing the friendship between the men as a sinister thing with questionable intentions:

“They had this friendship for years,” another former TMZ staffer said. “Trump would come on TMZ Live [a video webcast] in 2014. Harvey and Trump have had a relationship for many years that grew closer as the election approached. I wonder how much of it was Trump exploiting Harvey.”

Oh, for CRYING OUT LOUD.

How DAAAARE they be friends, right? Super sinister.

Fast forward to the 2016 election and Levin had developed an “incredibly close” relationship with Trump, another former senior TMZ staffer said.

“He was excited at the prospect of Trump becoming president. He wanted Trump to win because he wanted to know someone in the White House,” the former staffer said.

Cartwright declared that “to their horror,” Levin’s friends noticed the TMZ chief “continued to foster his relationship with Trump” during the election campaign.

The HORROR. OMG!

“Multiple former TMZ staffers said they became alarmed when the website and TMZ’s Fox TV show went from covering celebrities and scandal to covering Trump in a favorable manner,” he wrote.

TMZ has always covered celebrities, scandal, AND POLITICIANS.

They were up Obama’s butt for 8 years. THEY STILL ARE. These are just SOME of the headlines about the Obamas from the last few months:
