Sen. Marco Rubio has been all over the map.
If you recall, he voted for the GOP tax bill. Thanks to the bill, the majority of middle class Americans will see their taxes go DOWN. In addition, many companies are expanding, handing out bonuses and raising hourly wages.
It’s good across the board. But for some reason, Rubio went full blown Pelosi and decided to tell The Economist that the plan sucked.
“There is still a lot of thinking on the right that if big corporations are happy, they’re going to take the money they’re saving and reinvest it in American workers,” Rubio stated. “In fact they bought back shares, a few gave out bonuses; there’s no evidence whatsoever that the money’s been massively poured back into the American worker.”
“There’s no evidence whatsoever…”
As I pointed out yesterday, there is. Look here, here and here for a start.
I can’t figure out why he jumped on Pelosi’s “crumbs” train, but I guess he realized he’s wrong, because it totally reversed course and “clarified” his controversial remarks on Twitter.
Overall, the Republican tax-cut bill has been good for Americans. That is why I voted for it. But it could have been even better for American workers and their families. https://t.co/RKqt4LeK2Q

I mean…I agree it could’ve been better, but you’re totally contradicting yourself here, Rubs.
Yesterday: “There’s no evidence whatsoever that the money’s been massively poured back into the American worker.”
Today: “Overall, the Republican tax-cut bill has been good for Americans.”
Which is it?
Pick a lane, man.

Man, you just have no center whatsoever. You are always backtracking.

Kind of switched gears a little there Marco… you were accurate the first time.. it’s creating massive debt

Careful up there on the fence Mario. What a joke you are!

This is why I can’t stand politicians.
