Drama Queen Veteran Democrat Stomps Around And Burns Some Guns

I’m sorry, but do these virtue-signaling stunts actually work on Democrats?

I used to be a liberal myself. I would have laughed my a$$ off at this.

It’s just so… lame.

Democrat George Scott is running in Pennsylvania’s 10th congressional district against Republican U.S. Rep. Scott Perry. Apparently, his campaign strategy involves gun bonfires.

According to this:

Scott is a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel who is also a pastor, released a video ad of himself taking apart a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 rifle and tossed the pieces into a fire.

As he does this, Scott berates “Donald Trump’s loyal soldiers,” naming his opponent among those who “exploit guns and God to score political points.”

The candidate, who faces several Democrat opponents in the primary, goes on to secure the fact that he’s a Democrat, throwing out talking points about “gun safety” as he advocates for mandatory background checks and calls for a ban on “assault rifles meant for war.”

…which is all the more offensive, given that as a military vet, Scott knows the term is being misapplied.

YEEEEAH… either the military is dropping the ball on gun info… or this guy is purposely bull-sh*ting for votes.

My guess is the latter.

There’s no misunderstanding where his Republican opponent stands on the right to bear arms, with Perry having introduced the “Second Amendment Defense Act” last year in an effort to “stop future assaults on the Second Amendment by the Executive branch.”

A second bill would push back on Obama administration effort to reclassify certain types of ammunition.

“The Second Amendment guarantees the right to bear arms,” the lawmaker said at the time. “[A] fundamental, constitutional right we need to defend against anyone or any administration seeking to limit that right.”

I think this is embarrassing… in so many ways.

But keep it up, George. We’ll see how well this goes.
