Susan Rice Is Joining Netflix’s Board Of Directors

Ugh. Come on Netflix.

Our former joke of a national security advisor, Susan Rice, is joining Netflix’s board of directors. ‘Cause THAT’S what the company was missing. A woman who shamelessly lied about four Americans who died in Benghazi and unmasked senior Trump officials for shady political reasons.

“I am thrilled to be joining the board of directors of Netflix, a cutting-edge company whose leadership, high-quality productions, and unique culture I deeply admire,” Rice said in a statement.

Netflix co-founder and CEO Reed Hastings praised Rice’s experience working on intelligence issues during her tenure in the Obama administration.

“We are delighted to welcome Ambassador Rice to the Netflix board,” Hastings said in a statement on Wednesday. “For decades, she has tackled difficult, complex global issues with intelligence, integrity, and insight and we look forward to benefiting from her experience and wisdom.”

Her “wisdom”? Is that what we’re calling it now? I think they meant whiz.

BTW, it gets worse. The Obamas are currently discussing producing a “series of shows” on Netflix.

UGH. But one problem at a time. People are REALLY ticked about Susan Rice joining the board. In fact, many people are threatening to cancel their Netflix subscriptions.
