BREAKING: Another Bomb Found At FedEx Facility Where Package Exploded

A bomb went off at a FedEx center in the San Antonio area last night/early this morning. It was filled with nails and shrapnel and bound for Austin.

Another bomb has been discovered at that same facility.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A package bomb believed to be linked to the recent bombings in Austin exploded early Tuesday inside a FedEx distribution center near San Antonio, leaving one worker with minor injuries, and a second unexploded bomb was found at the same facility, authorities said.

Hours later, police sent a hazardous-materials team to a FedEx facility in Austin to check on a suspicious package there. There was no immediate word about whether that package contained explosives.

A sixth, unexploded package bomb was discovered today at the FedEx facility in Austin, Texas, two sources briefed on the investigation told ABC News.

The package, which is intact, was discovered by FedEx workers, the company said in a statement. It’s believed to have been sent by the same individual who mailed a package bomb that exploded at a FedEx facility near San Antonio this morning, officials said, and could yield major clues in the hunt for the serial bomber terrorizing Austin.

“We have also confirmed that the individual responsible [for Tuesday’s package bomb] also shipped a second package that has now been secured and turned over to law enforcement,” FedEx said in its statement but did not reveal which of its facilities the package was discovered in.

Again, we’re up to six bombs now.
