New Orleans Restaurant Wants You White People To Pay More For Your Meal. Because YOU ARE WHITE, You Whiteys.

Wow, liberals in this country are FIXATED ON SKIN COLOR.  I mean, no matter how I’m raising my 8-year old daughter to NOT see race, she’s going to see it come hell or high water. And it won’t be because of me, y’all.  It’ll be because of race-obsessed liberals who literally see EVERYTHING THROUGH THE PRISM OF skin color. Ev-er-y-THING.

Lord knows that you can’t get a job today based on merit.  It’s based on one’s SKIN color, amirite?  Thanks Chuck Schumer!

And thaaaaaanks restaurant owners in New Orleans who want to charge white people more, simply because we lack melanin in our skin.  How very neat.  And raaaaaacist.  No seriously.  This is happening:

As part of a month-long “social experiment,” a pop-up restaurant in New Orleans is asking white customers to pay extra for their meal in the name of wealth redistribution.

According to Civil Eats, the pop-up called Saartj gives white customers — and only white customers — the option to pay “$12 for lunch or the suggested price of $30” while black customers are “charged $12 and also given the option to collect the $18 paid by a white patron as a way to redistribute wealth.”

Restaurant creator Tunde Wey says that his project seeks to educate patrons on the “nation’s racial wealth gap,” using statistics, according to Civil Eats’ coverage from an EPI study that looks at income distribution broadly, similar to the debunked 22-cent “gender pay gap” statistic.

Sigh.

So, if you’re a white person sitting at this restaurant and you order, you get lectured about the “racial wealth gap.”  I sh*t you not.  This is what the owner – Wey – does.  He also asks (only if you’re WHITE, mind you) personal questions like, “have you ever inherited money or received gifts from family like a car, college tuition payments or other high value gifts?”

And then he GUILTS people into paying. Because he feels as though if he talks about this stuff with white people and puts them on the spot in his restaurant, people will pay the extra money for their food.

OMG, I can’t with this.  But a lot of white people can, because 78% of them end up feeling all guilty and paying more.

First of all, it takes a LOT to get me to go to restaurants these days.  And if I DO go to restaurants, there are three kinds you’re going to find me in – BBQ, Mexican, and Thai.  That’s pretty much it.  I gotta tell ya – if someone starts lecturing me on “wealth inequality” while I’m PAYING THEM FOR FOOD SERVICE?  There’s no conversation.  There’s no guilt.

This could be one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard, and I’ve heard some dumb liberal crap in nine years.  It’s called a SERVICE industry.  You’re serving ME.  Food.  I don’t give half a single crap what skin color anyone has.  I am there for a meal that I’m paying you to serve me.  If I wanted a lecture, I’d go to one.

And be forewarned if you’re in the NOLA area, you’re white, and you’re thinking about going to this restaurant.  Because I’d suggest getting some Thai instead.
