White House Explains EXACTLY Why Hypocritical Democratic Memo CANNOT Be Released

As I mentioned late last week, President Trump shot down releasing the Democratic memo as is.

As we also discussed, the outrage from the left was a COMPLETE SHAM, as they specifically wrote it to be unreleasable so that they could turn around and complain about how UNFAAAIR it was that the Nunes memo was released and theirs wasn’t.

John Roberts, Fox News’ Chief White House Correspondent, tweeted this DAYS before the memo was turned down.

Sources tell @foxnews that the @AdamSchiffCA memo contains information pertaining to “sources and methods” that will likely require redaction. One source says this was done tactically to force the @realDonaldTrump into making changes – setting up a contrast with GOP memo

And predictably, they feigned outrage:

Anyway, White House deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley appeared on Fox News this morning to discuss why the memo can’t be released as is.

“This Democratic memo does not keep American lives safe it reveals serious national security information that could quite frankly put our lives at risk and the president is not going to do that.”

Funny how they were FREEEEAKING out about how DANGEROUS the Nunes memo was, right?

According to Daily Caller:

The memo was compiled in response to its Republican counterpart which alleges broad abuse of FISA authority by top officials in the Department of Justice and the FBI. Democrats say their memo will push back and add key context to the document released by Devin Nunes and other House Intel Republicans.

The White House told Congress Friday Trump would not release the Democratic memo saying “although the President is inclined to declassify the February 5th [Democratic] Memorandum, because the Memorandum contains numerous properly classified and especially sensitive passages, he is unable to do so at this time.”

Again… they knew EXACTLY what they were doing.

The White House continued that it would allow the FBI to provide technical assistance to Democrats to produce a non-objectionable version of the memo.

“The Executive Branch stands ready to review any subsequent draft of the February 5th Memorandum for declassification at the earliest opportunity,” White House counsel Don McGahn declared.

The fact that ANYONE with half a brain still trusts the Democrats blows my MIND.
