On Monday, the House panel voted to release the Democratic memo, which is supposedly designed to combat the Nunes memo. I’m holding on to Rep. Ron DeSantis’ take on this. He said the counter-memo is a bunch of nonsense designed to confuse everyone, but it doesn’t actually do anything to refute the facts in the Nunes memo.
House Intel should vote to release the Schiff counter-memo. It’s basically a sloppy, Chewbacca defense rejoinder to the Nunes memo that unwittingly buttresses concerns raised in the Nunes memo.

President Trump has five days to make a decision. Chuck is losing his mind ahead of time, just in case.
.@realDonaldTrump decided the public deserved to see the #NunesMemo before he’d even read it, so he ought to be similarly eager for the American people to see this memo. https://t.co/LAgsKRBVkF

The Schiff memo is based on the same underlying docs as the partisan #NunesMemo, so there should be no question as to whether or not @realDonaldTrump will approve the new memo’s release. If he refuses, the American people will be forced to wonder: what is he trying to hide?
— Chuck Schumer (@SenSchumer) February 5, 2018
It sounds like he’ll release the memo. At least, that’s what Sarah Sanders suggested.
“The administration stands ready to work with Congress to accommodate oversight requests consistent with applicable standards, including the need to protect intelligence sources and methods,” Sanders said.
So here we are. What are the latest developments? Glad you asked! It looks like some of this memo will have to be redacted. Oh. And Democrats likely did that on purpose. You know. To make Trump look shady and non-transparent.
Sources tell @foxnews that the @AdamSchiffCA memo contains information pertaining to "sources and methods" that will likely require redaction. One source says this was done tactically to force the @realDonaldTrump into making changes – setting up a contrast with GOP memo

This is what they do. They’re snakes. I knew they’d pull something like this.
Yup. I knew it. Then schiffy is gonna say all the redacted parts r something theyre not. He is so shady.

And @RepAdamSchiff holds up to his nickname: Shifty Schiff!! He is not serving any of the American people…he's playing political games!

Ever the worm he is. Then release it as is

Of course there is, that way they can say "See! The President must be hiding something." Lil Schiffty is a real POS

Smh such mind games! Sounds like middle school/ high school all over again.
— Michele Morris (@rocco0604morris) February 6, 2018
Yep. This is a game to them. But consider this your warning. This is the coming narrative. They’re going to accuse Trump of hiding something.
