Michael Wolff– the author of the garbage gossip book “Fire and Fury”– appeared on “Morning Joe” to do a little gossipin’ with Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough. You’d THINK they’d be all about that. They hate Trump. They all have a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
It didn’t go as planned. Mika was really irritated over Wolff implying that President Trump’s having an affair with Nikki Haley (wow, Mika and I agree on something for once!). Wolff said he “didn’t infer anything about Nikki Haley” and added “many of the people around the president believe that he is involved with various women.”
Trump is the busiest person on the planet, and he has people on EVERY CORNER out to get him. If Trump was having a bunch of affairs, we’d already know about them in explicit detail. Just sayin’.
He said the portion of his book about Haley, which he had previously suggested was related to an affair, was rather about her ambitions to become secretary of the State Department and that “everywhere in the White House they were suddenly in quite a panic that this was actually happening.”
That’s when Mika started losing it.
“I’m gonna go as far as to say that you might be having a fun time, playing a little game dancing around this,” Brzezinski said, “but you’re slurring a woman. It’s disgraceful”
Shut the front door. I agree with Mika again.
Mika was over it and shut the entire interview down.
“She has decided to deny what she has not been accused of,” Wolff said. “Certainly, I didn’t accuse her of this.” He told Brzezinski to “read me the language” from the book.
Brzezinski grew frustrated and ended the interview.
“I’m not reading you anything,” she said. “If you don’t get it and you don’t get what we’re talking about — I’m sorry, this is awkward here on the set with us, but we’re done.”
Look at this death stare. It’s almost as good as Chuck Schumer’s.
See for yourself.
.@MichaelWolffNYC cut off on @Morning_Joe after claiming he didn't accuse .@nikkihaley of anything. Bizarre segment.
The hosts praised "Fire and Fury" to Wolff's face last month: "The spirit of it was completely true." https://t.co/zmoyrgedL2 pic.twitter.com/JwqoSWeyAf

It doesn’t end there. Wolff went off on Mika on Twitter.
My bad, the President is right about Mika.

Um…holy crap?
To be invited on a show with the purpose of being thrown off…is the new television.
— Michael Wolff (@MichaelWolffNYC) February 1, 2018
In other words, I had to say what Mika wanted me to say, or else…the hook!
— Michael Wolff (@MichaelWolffNYC) February 1, 2018
And let me repeat: Nikki Haley has chosen to vociferously deny something she was not accused of.
— Michael Wolff (@MichaelWolffNYC) February 1, 2018
What a SNAKE. He has some nerve.
The last time I was on Morning Joe off camera Joe and Mika eager to gossip about who Trump might be sleeping with.
— Michael Wolff (@MichaelWolffNYC) February 1, 2018
It really would be hard to gossip more eagerly off camera than Mika and Joe gossip.
— Michael Wolff (@MichaelWolffNYC) February 1, 2018
I believe that, but Wolff is ABSOLUTELY a slimeball.
Can I just say that I can’t stand ANY of the characters involved in this spat? It’s fun to watch, but they’re all screwy. Mika is awful. Michael is gross.
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why you shouldn’t give credibility and airtime to a smear merchant https://t.co/Tcur0ec5Lx

Bingo.
