Back in November, a judge declared a mistrial in the corruption trial of Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez. The jury could not arrive to a unanimous conclusion.
Remember when a defense attorney tried to say that this was an attack on “Hispanic-Americans”? Good times.
Well, now there’s this. The Justice Department will retry Menendez on bribery charges.

Federal prosecutors said Friday they would retry U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez (D.,N.J.) on bribery charges, two months after a jury in Newark said it was hopelessly deadlocked.
The Department of Justice said it would also retry Menendez’s co-defendant, Florida eye doctor Salomon Melgen.
Menendez’s office is bummed that the DOJ “has decided to double down on an unjust prosecution.”
HAHAHA. “Unjust.” Yeah, OK.
