A few days ago, House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes dropped a pretty big bombshell. He informed his colleagues that he discovered “abuse” of government surveillance by FBI and Justice officials.
Then, this happened. The House Intelligence Committee voted to make “a memo documenting abuse of the FISA program” available to colleagues.
Rep. Ron DeSantis was not happy with what he saw and dropped this bomb.
The classified report compiled by House Intelligence is deeply troubling and raises serious questions about the upper echelon of the Obama DOJ and Comey FBI as it relates to the so-called collusion investigation.
— Ron DeSantis (@RepDeSantis) January 18, 2018
While the report is classified as Top Secret, I believe the select committee should, pursuant to House rules, vote to make the report publicly available as soon as possible. This is a matter of national significance and the American people deserve the truth.
— Ron DeSantis (@RepDeSantis) January 18, 2018
Hear that language? “Deeply troubling.” “…raises serious questions about the upper echelon of the Obama DOJ and Comey FBI.” “…matter of national significance.” “… the American people deserve the truth.”
Rep. Jim Jordan said, “It is so alarming the American people have to see this.”
Rep. Mark Meadows called it “troubling” and “shocking.”
Rep. Matt Gaetz said, “I believe the consequence of its release will be major changes in people currently working at the FBI and the Department of Justice.”
Here’s more from Rep. Meadows:
I viewed the classified report from House Intel relating to the FBI, FISA abuses, the infamous Russian dossier, and so-called "Russian collusion." What I saw is absolutely shocking.
This report needs to be released–now. Americans deserve the truth. #ReleaseTheMemo pic.twitter.com/oP2UNujKQL

And Rep. Matt Gaetz:
The House must immediately make public the memo prepared by the Intelligence Committee regarding the FBI and the Department of Justice…There is no higher priority than the release of this information to preserve our democracy.https://t.co/CgC0qEqlSp

And Rep. Lee Zeldin:
Just read the classified doc @HPSCI re FISA abuse. I'm calling for its immediate public release w/relevant sourced material. The public must have access ASAP! #Transparency
— Lee Zeldin (@RepLeeZeldin) January 18, 2018
Releasing this classified info doesn't compromise good sources & methods. It reveals the feds' reliance on bad sources & methods.
— Lee Zeldin (@RepLeeZeldin) January 18, 2018
And Rep. Steve King:
I have read the memo. The sickening reality has set in. I no longer hold out hope there is an innocent explanation for the information the public has seen. I have long said it is worse than Watergate. It was #neverTrump & #alwaysHillary. #releasethememo
— Steve King (@SteveKingIA) January 19, 2018
There’s something BIG here. I don’t know what to think. It sounds like this has the potential to blow up and rock DC’s world. If this is as explosive as Republican lawmakers say, MSM won’t be able to ignore it.
Conservative Twitter is on fire. #ReleaseTheDocument and #ReleaseTheMemo have been trending.
Do it. Do it. Do it. #ReleaseTheMemo

I’m dying to see this memo, but I think Trump is going to let this thing build up for a few days. Hopefully, we’ll get to see this thing early next week.
