Alleged teen car thieves deliberately plowed into a retired California police chief, resulting in the fatality of Andreas Probst, who formerly headed the Bell Police Department in California.
Probst was only 64-years-old, simply enjoying his morning bike ride in the wake of August 14th on North Tenaya Way near West Centennial Parkway.
This hit-and-run occurred in Las Vegas and there is footage of it all, where the passenger is heard giggling as the gruesome scene ensues.
The passenger prepped his iPhone to capture the collision, to which the 17-year-old driver asked, “Ready?”
That’s sick on so many levels… and not the cool version of “sick.”
The passenger is heard coaxing the driver to proceed with hitting Probst, and continues to point his iPhone out the window and behind the vehicle to record Probst rolling on the side of the road afterwards.
Since the driver is a minor, his name is not disclosed, but he is booked in Clark County Juvenile Hall.
It wasn’t until two weeks after the collision that police found the viral video on X, formerly known as Twitter. The video evidenced murder, in which the charges against the teenager were updated accordingly.

If found guilty, execute them. They clearly place so little value on life that theirs, accordingly, is also forfeit.
It’s truly so heart-breaking just how deliberate this act was! Gotta love how we still protect this kid’s identity because of his age. A murderous heart doesn’t deserve that level of protection. It’s the public that needs the protection from HIM. So backwards.
