Nick Cannon must have gotten a real giggle in after posting this “hilarious” video of him visiting one of his 12 kids.
Is this meant as a joke? Yes. Is this mostly sad? Also yes.
As the saying goes, there is a grain of truth in every joke. And you can’t have 12 kids with six women and be a super involved dad. It just doesn’t work that way.
Sure, he can do his best (and I hope he is), but Nick is undoubtedly missing so much of each of his kids’ lives.
Daily dinners together. Bedtime stories. Playtime. And the day-to-day care of a child that ultimately culminates into a meaningful relationship.
He’s missing it, and more importantly, so are his kids. And that’s no laughing matter.

I’ll tell you why Cannon has children by different women. In an interview, he said that being married to only one woman and raising a family with her is “Eurocentric” and offensive to him as a black man. I don’t think Mariah Carey should have NEVER got involved with him. Just think of the wrong message Cannon is sending out to the young black men who look up to him. Many of said individuals are themselves from fatherless homes and are likely to come away thinking that it’s OK to sire many children without the benefit of marriage because they see Cannon doing so. The “traditional marriage and family framework is “Eurocentric”, “white” and “western” sentiment was echoed by Black Lives Matter, along with calling for the dismantling of those institutions. As a then-pregnant high school senior, I heard that same opinion from the flaming, black feminist teacher’s aide in the Government class that seniors were required to take. That course can be best described as a catechism course for the Secular Humanist religion, (per the 1960 Supreme Court decision, Torcaso V. Watkins) and leftist indoctrination. As the family goes, so goes society and it’s no wonder why America’s inner cities are in shambles. Sorry for the lengthy post.
