Democrats Are Planning ALL KIIINDS Of Fun Little Stunts For Trump’s State Of The Union Address

It’s almost time for the State of the Union address…

So obviously Democrats are trying to figure out how they can make it all about them!

They’re attention wh*res like that.

Anyway… I don’t know how I didn’t realize they’d turn this into a total sh*tshow.

According to Daily Mail:

One Democratic lawmaker is already planning to boycott President Trump’s first State of the Union address later this month, while the women of the party will don black clothes to show support for the #MeToo movement.

Dear LORD.

Because of course they saw they Hollywood HEROES do it at an award show, and they wanna be juuuuust like them!

The Hill newspaper reported that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat from California, and other female members of the party are taking a page from the women of Hollywood, who wore black dresses to Sunday’s Golden Globes awards to show solidarity with victims of sexual harassment and assault.

So pathetic.

This year the women settled on wearing black after watching the Golden Globes.

‘What we want is to really continue the conversation about sexual harassment in the workplace, about disparity of salaries where people work in the same job and also getting paid for the value of your work,’ Rep. Lois Frankel, a Florida Democrat, told the Hill.

…she’s the leader of the Democratic Women’s Working Group, FYI.

She added that lawmakers’ black ensembles won’t likely be as fashion-forward as the women in Hollywood.

‘I don’t expect to see diamonds or a lot of flesh,’ the congresswoman remarked.

Thank GOD… the last thing I want to see is more of Pelosi…

And you’d think that Democrats would realize showing up to something dripping in diamonds would hurt their cause… but I wouldn’t put it past them for a second.

So far only Rep. Earl Blumenauer, a Democrat from Oregon, has said he plans to skip the speech, but that number could increase.

‘Rather than listening to another destructive, divisive speech by Trump, I will not attend this year’s annual address to Congress,’ Blumenauer tweeted on January 5. ‘Instead, like I did during his inauguration, I’ll be working at home listening to Oregonians about what they think about the State of the Union.’

Shouldn’t you listen to the speech to know what it is they’re reacting to?

OH! I GET IT! YOU’RE JUST VIRTUE SIGNALING!

Silly me!

Not that this is anything new…

Last year, for Trump’s joint address – the speech becomes the State of the Union after the president’s first year in office – Democratic Reps. Maxine Waters of California and Al Green of Texas both sat out.

Green told the Hill Wednesday that he’ll soon announce his plans for the January 30 speech.

Green is one of a handful of Democrats who’s been calling for Trump’s impeachment.

Two other Democratic lawmakers howling for impeachment, Reps. Ted Lieu of California and Steve Cohen of Tennessee told the Hill they do, however, plan to attend.

Those who DO plan on coming, plan on bringing people with them…

Beyond wearing black, there are other ways Democrats in attendance can make a scene.

Both the White House and members of Congress will be sending political messages through the guests they invite.

An aide of Frankel’s told NBC News that some lawmakers will be bringing victims of sexual violence and activists on the issue to the speech.
