According to the sourcelink, the Mooch was on CNN last night, talking to Chris Cuomo about Trump’s appearance at the National Championship game this past Monday. If you recall, a bunch of people all over social media wanted a reason to hate Donald Trump even more than they do, so they collectively decided that he didn’t know the words to our National Anthem.
If you missed seeing the video in question, here you go:
Now, if you ask me, there are a couple things at play here. And this is just my personal take – you can agree or disagree and I don’t really care. Sometimes, at events like this, you are close enough to the Actual Music Source that you can hear the music live, but you can ALSO hear the slightly delayed version coming over the loudspeakers, and the timing is often not at all in sync. So it’s difficult to sing along. The other thing is that sometimes you want to sing along, but you also want to hear the performers, so you kinda just half sing along.
In other words, I think this is a bunch of hullabaloo about nothing. Which is what most sufferers of Trump Derangement Syndrome are often guilty of perpetuating.
Anyway, the way that Scaramucci tried to defend Trump involved, inexplicably, a Maroon 5 reference.
BEHOLD:
Whizzah Whuzzah?
“I gotta tell you, I know a lot of the Maroon 5 songs, I don’t know all of them.”
I totally giggled when Cuomo said, “I don’t know why you want to admit that.”
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
