It just doesn’t stop. Does it?
The other day, President Trump released a harsh statement on Steve Bannon. This came after Bannon said Don Jr. would be “cracked like an egg” on national TV. Bannon also described the whole meeting with Russians as “treasonous.”
Oy vey.
This was President Trump’s full statement:
Statement from the President of the United States:
Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party.
Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans.
Steve doesn’t represent my base—he’s only in it for himself.
Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was. It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books.
We have many great Republican members of Congress and candidates who are very supportive of the Make America Great Again agenda. Like me, they love the United States of America and are helping to finally take our country back and build it up, rather than simply seeking to burn it all down.
Things are just getting worse. Trump sent a cease and desist, but the author of the contentious anti-Trump book isn’t backing down. In fact, he claims to have tapes, proving the absurd claims in his book.
All that being said, President Trump has finally responded on the Twitter machine. Oh. And he gave Steve a new nickname.
I authorized Zero access to White House (actually turned him down many times) for author of phony book! I never spoke to him for book. Full of lies, misrepresentations and sources that don’t exist. Look at this guy’s past and watch what happens to him and Sloppy Steve!

Sloppy Steve, everyone.
"Sloppy Steve"…..and with that, Trump makes public what he's been saying in private for a year and a half. https://t.co/3gAl4TLHPh

I have a feeling #SloppySteve is going to go big. Branding gold. https://t.co/rFFu9tKNuc

Steve Bannon called Trump’s daughter dumb as a rock and Trump’s son unpatriotic and treasonous.
That is a huge red line that he decided to cross. Trump has returned the insult to Bannon calling him Sloppy Steve.
Wow. I love the POTUS. Says what he wants when he wants.

ANYWAY…
Well, now that collusion with Russia is proving to be a total hoax and the only collusion is with Hillary Clinton and the FBI/Russia, the Fake News Media (Mainstream) and this phony new book are hitting out at every new front imaginable. They should try winning an election. Sad!

Here’s my thinking: This book would be less of a big deal if Trump would stop making it a big deal. Think about it. If Trump simply dismissed it and was all, “Yeah, whatever. This book is Actual Garbage and if you purchase it, you’re throwing money out the window, but have fun!” it wouldn’t be such a big deal, right? Perhaps I’m being naive. MSM is going to obsess over the claims no matter what, and since when has Trump EVER backed down from MSM’s smears? It’s not in his nature. I’m just saying, right now, his reaction seems to be adding fuel to the fire.
But hey. We elected a fighter for a reason.
What do you think?
