Money talks, and corporate money talks even louder because it represents a heck of a lot more money than just one customer might have. On top of that, corporate entities can withstand a heck of a lot more adversity before it hurts them bad enough to force them to make changes So when major companies abandon the squalid hellholes that are Big Blue cities because the crime, homelessness, and drug issues are too damaging to their businesses, then that means things are really bad.
San Francisco politicians and the local news media say crime isn't increasing, but Whole Foods begs to differ. Today Whole Foods announced that it is abandoning its one-year-old flagship store downtown because of crime and rampant drug dealing. https://t.co/2j4l0sJWc6

Whole Foods certainly isn’t the first left-leaning business to abandon a Big Blue city, but it’s the most recent to abandon San Francisco. I guess they decided they really can’t make any money in the environment that Leftist progressive politicians have created in San Francisco. It’s too dangerous for them and all their customers to do business in that city. And not one single person is surprised by this. San Francisco is an embarrassment to this country. Here’s a tiny glimpse of what it’s become.
Now ask yourself this question would you want your children to walk through this squalor just to get home from school? @JoeBiden @VP @SpeakerPelosi @SenFeinstein @LondonBreed @SFPDChief #DoBetter #democrats #politics #Police #DRUGS #SanFrancisco #California #crime #DoYourJob #NA pic.twitter.com/ZBa8PApgtC

This is what the kids in San Francisco are forced to walk past everyday.

Hard drug use, drug deals, feces, needles, adults slumped over with exposed wounds and addicts suffering from mental illness screaming in the streets.
The streets are truly scary to walk down. pic.twitter.com/F9xSNJod4m

I’m of two minds on this story. My first reaction is that San Francisco is getting what it deserves with businesses moving out. And I still believe that. But on the other hand, I feel badly for the businesses that have to flee.
On the podcast, Mock said she felt sorry for Whole Foods (WF) because its not their fault. I don’t feel the least bit sorry for them. As a corporation, they are one of the farthest left ones out there, possibly rivaling Ben & Jerry’s. They’ve been big advocates in many places of the policies implemented by San Francisco that led to the conditions which led to WF’s departure. So yes, Mock, it is at least partially WF’s fault, and though I feel badly for some of the businesses that have to flee, WF is not one of them..
There was a time I had wanted to move to San Francisco. But after becoming a conservative, I had second thoughts. It’s another beautiful city that’s been ruined by leftists and I don’t blame Whole Foods for pulling up stakes — and steaks from there.
