We have a very serious mental health crisis in this country, and I have no intention of diminishing this reality. If you need help, do not hesitate to reach out to those around you or seek help from any number of available support resources. It is a tragedy that John Fetterman, recently elected Senator from Pennsylvania, “checked himself into the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to receive treatment for clinical depression” this week.
Yes, this is a tragedy, but no, it is not at all surprising to anyone who has been watching. In fact, I’d suggest that this might have been avoided, had his power-hungry wife and the morally bankrupt Democrat political establishment not been so desperate for a compliant “yes” vote in the Senate that they forced him into an elected position while he was physically and mentally compromised following a stroke. This man was clearly not physically or mentally capable of becoming a Senator for a major state. And yet he was thrust into the position by people who cared more about political power and Senate votes than people. They don’t care about the American people and they don’t care about Fetterman. Not even his own conniving, power-hungry wife. She and Jill Biden must be besties, what with their blatant disregard for their husbands’ declining health.

I am thinking the one’s that should be treated for depression are his constituents. They have to live with the consequences of their bad decision making.
sigh…
>mentally compromised following a stroke.
We don’t know that. He may be perfectly fine mentally (cognitively) and just have communication problems that are fairly easily compensated for.
>[not] mentally capable of becoming a Senator for a major state.
See above.
Mike stop this nonsense. You keep saying “he’s not mentally compromised but he is mentally compromised.” His brain is broken and he currently cannot compensate for said problem. You are arguing that this might change in the future which is irrelevant to the argument of the here and now. He’s not mentally capable of receiving or transmitting communications in a job where said qualifications are one of the few requirements.
>You keep saying “he’s not mentally compromised but he is mentally compromised.”
I have never said that. But even if only the first part of that is used-
>You keep saying “he’s not mentally compromised
I don’t say that either. I say we don’t know.
>You are arguing that this might change in the future which is irrelevant to the argument of the here and now.
No. I am arguing that it is petty and, let’s go with ‘not nice’ to avoid Mock’s ban hammer, to make fun of a guy that had a stroke and basically calling him a drooling vegetable when the only thing we know is he has trouble speaking and hearing (neither of which is required for communicating). Stop being the bully picking on a guy because of his stroke, and pick on him for being an insane Leftist and possibly a racist.
>He’s not mentally capable of receiving or transmitting communications
Outright false.
Wow that’s a lot of splitting hairs for defense. But once again you seem to not understand the argument and several of the underlying principles.
