As I mentioned a few days ago, David Cassidy has passed away.
His daughter, Katie Cassidy, tweeted a heartbreaking message about his last words.
Words cant express the solace our family’s received from all the love & support during this trying time. My father’s last words were “So much wasted time”. This will be a daily reminder for me to share my gratitude with those I love as to never waste another minute….thank you.

The Arrow actress broke her silence on social media to reveal the late singer’s last words before he passed away from organ failure at the age of 67.
The 30-year-old, who had a complicated relationship with her father, wrote on Twitter on Friday: ‘Words cant express the solace our family’s received from all the love & support during this trying time,
‘My father’s last words were ‘So much wasted time.’ This will be a daily reminder for me to share my gratitude with those I love as to never waste another minute… Thank you.’
Katie didn’t have a close relationship with David and they weren’t speaking in recent years.
They were once relatively close…. Years ago they said they shared a close friendship…
However, the duo drifted apart to the point they were no longer in contact, which David revealed to People in February.
‘I wasn’t her father. I was her biological father but I didn’t raise her. She has a completely different life,’ he explained.
‘[But] I’m proud of her. She’s very talented. It’s hard for me to even accept how old she is now.’
I hope for both of their sakes they were able to mend their relationship before he passed.
In this season of gratitude, we should reflect on those last words…”so much wasted time” and think about the ones we love.
Have we said what we needed to say? Have we reached out to those who truly matter? Is there someone out there YOU should extend an olive branch to?
David was 67. Not an old man… you never know when it may be too late. Why waste more time?
