FBI Paid Twitter $3.5M For Staffers “Processing Requests From The FBI.” Your Own Money Was Used To Censor You.

A third independent journalist, Michael Shellenberger, just published a massive Twitter thread about another huge Twitter files dump. The entire thread is packed with shocking information, along with receipts. But post number 46 is particularly shocking. In this particular post, Shellenberger reveals internal communication with Jim Baker. He’s the former FBI general counsel who left the FBI in 2018 and was the deputy general counsel for Twitter until very recently when he was fired after gatekeeping the Twitter files that Elon was trying to open to the public. He was censoring these very files, likely because he knew what was going to be exposed and he knew it would reflect poorly on his beloved FBI. He knew it would expose rampant government corruption and collusion in a massive censorship campaign, so, naturally, he tried to censor that information.

In this particular communication, FBI guy Jim Baker receives details about how much money the government paid Twitter for staffers “processing requests from the FBI.” The government apparently paid this social media company $3,415,323 between October of 2019 and February 10, 2021, the date of the communication. The email explains that this was a “reimbursement program” for Twitter staffers devoting their time to doing the FBI’s bidding in censoring American citizens and suppressing information. Y’all, your own dollars were spent by the FBI to censor you. And how sad is it that we aren’t even really that surprised?

How many federal government requests did Twitter staffers process in that time? How many posts and users did the government flag as problematic and refer to the Twitter staffers who were on their payroll? How many posts and users were censored as a result of all those FBI requests that were being processed?

It really has been state-sponsored censorship and propaganda for years, and now we have an email revealing exactly how much they paid to curate that propaganda and censor the American people between October of 2019 and February 10, 2021. Wouldn’t it be interesting to know how much they’ve paid since February 10, 2021?
