December 15, 2022According to the sourcelink, a school board in Detroit has voted to change the name of the Dr. Ben Carson High School, because a bunch of butthurt a-holes are mad that he ever worked for Trump. 80% of people surveyed about this potential change (out of 1500) said, “Yup – that dude is an embarrassment and we don’t want his name on the school.”
Those are my words, obviously, but those are the facts.
I should point out that Dr Carson grew up in the Detroit public school system, and is a SHINING EXAMPLE of achievement who Detroit schools should be super proud of, given that in general they suck pretty hard. Dr. Carson overcame all the obstacles of being raised in poverty by a single mom, and went on to graduate from Yale, and then became a massively successful and highly regarded NEUROSURGEON.
He’s someone who Detroit school attendees should aspire to be like. But nope – he worked for Trump, serving his country, and so his name’s gotta go.
Dr. Carson has no plans to fight the name change, because what’s the point? The woke are gonna woke. But he did post this on FB:

I graduated from that school when it was then named Crockett Vocational/Technical Center in 1987, the same year Dr. Carson separated the conjoined twins. It was named after the first wife of flaming Democrat, (actually socialist) Congressman George Crockett. The name change was not long after I graduated and I was pleased with it. Now I’m disgusted with the Detroit school board for catering to the crybaby who took issue with Dr. Carson serving under President Trump, as if I didn’t already despise their schools. What’s next, naming the school after George Floyd or after Malice Green? The former was a wife beating Detroit thug and the “victim of brutality from white police officers” in 1992. The son of Congressman Crockett, George Crockett Jr. presided over the police officers’ Detroit trial and convicted them of manslaughter. Something is seriously wrong when individuals of ill repute are held in higher esteem than highly accomplished individuals who rose above their adversities and became the best in their field.
It is really all of the residents of Michigan’s loss and embarrassment that we cannot honor a Michigan native for his accomplishments.

As far as some, (namely, Joe Biden) are concerned, Dr. Carson, COTR’s own Ksenya, Justice Clarence Thomas, Candace Owens, Larry Elder and I, “ain’t black” since we’re not leftist Democrats.
