Ahhh, you love to see it.
Far be it from me to revel in another’s misery (that’s not true, but let’s pretend it is). When it comes to Queen of the Election Deniers and Prince Skateboard themselves, though, I can’t help but giggle. Sue me.
Stacey Abrams, who still hasn’t conceded the last election for governor, was bested once again by incumbent Brian Kemp in Georgia’s gubernatorial race. Stupid racist voter ID laws! If it weren’t for evil Republicans, Georgia wouldn’t have had a record turn out, and. . . uh. . . Sorry, what was the argument again? Something something, total BS?
Miraculously, Abrams has conceded. I guess not even she is delusional enough to pretend that a 10-point lead is proof of voter suppression.
Meanwhile in Texas, Robert Francis O’Rourke lost his bid for governor to incumbent Greg Abbott by a shocking 11 points. Apparently voters cared more about concrete ideas than cheap political theater. Who saw that coming? It’s almost a worse defeat than his doomed presidential campaign—at least he could take comfort from the DNC rigging that primary.
Personally, I can’t wait to see what these losers do next. Will Abrams EVER concede the 2018 race? Which political office will O’Rourke fail to achieve next??
The only office left that Beto can run for is Queen of England.
