First Openly Trans Army Officer Charged In Conspiracy To Give Military Medical Info To Russia

You really can’t make this stuff up. The first openly transgender Army officer, Major Jamie Lee Henry, and Henry’s spouse Anna Gabrielian, have been charged with “Conspiracy (18 U.S.C. § 371)” and “Disclosure of Individual Identifiable Health Information (42 U.S.C. § 1320d-6).” The two were allegedly involved in a plot to give the personal medical information of U.S. military service members to the Russian government to aid in Russia’s war effort.

Now, you might be wondering what this Army Major’s sexuality has anything to do with this story. Why specifically note that he is the first transgender Army Officer when his sexuality doesn’t play a part in this story? Well, it’s because the narrative is all the Left cares about. CNN’s article on this story didn’t ONCE mention this Major’s status as first trans Army Officer because it reflects poorly on the trans narrative for the first trans Army Officer to be a traitor to the country. But if they were writing a story about literally ANYTHING else that wasn’t treason and conspiracy, then you KNOW that would have been part of their headline.

Not only that, take a moment to consider how much time and effort the Left has spent trying to prove Russian conspiracy theories aimed at destroying Republicans and conservatives. I mean, the entire Russian collusion hoax, the impeachment hoax, etc. That was all targeted at Republican and conservative individuals. I have even been accused of being a Russian sympathizer for some of my commentary surrounding the Russia/Ukraine war. But now, there’s a VERY clearcut Russian conspiracy by an individual who is decidedly NOT a conservative or Republican, and suddenly that angle doesn’t matter to them? Suddenly they don’t want to talk about how this guy is the exact opposite of who they’ve been accusing of conspiring with the Russians? No, they don’t get to do that. I won’t let them.

Anna Gabrielian was an anesthesiologist at Johns Hopkins University and Major Jamie Lee Henry was a doctor at Fort Bragg. According to the indictment, Gabrielian had reached out to the Russian embassy to offer help from herself and her husband by passing along “individually identifiable health information” regarding military service members and their families, which the Kremlin “could exploit” to aid their war effort. She then made contact with an undercover FBI agent who was claiming to be a Russian embassy employee. The Indictment says Gabrielian explained to the undercover agent that she was “motivated by patriotism toward Russia” and was willing to provide any assistance to the Russian government, even if she risked going to jail. She also allegedly offered her Army husband’s assistance in the form of medical records, information on military hospitals, and details of training being provided to the Ukrainian military.

In another conversation with the undercover agent, Major Henry said he had “looked into volunteering to join the Russian Army after the conflict in Ukraine began,” but felt he lacked combat training.

The indictment details how Major Henry gave the undercover agent the personal health records of a US Army Officer, a Department of Defense employee, and the spouses of three Army veterans, while Gabrielian provided the personal medical information of “the spouse of a government employee and military veteran.” Specifically, this included senior military officers at Fort Bragg and their families. It’s important to note that Fort Brag is home to many Special Operations forces. This information was intended to prove what kind of access the two had and what kind of sensitive information they could obtain.

Gabrielian and Henry knew what they were doing was wrong, and Gabrielian allegedly told the undercover agent, “I don’t want to end in jail here with my kids being hostages over my head.” Thus, they had made plans to escape to Turkey after aiding the Kremlin.

The indictment gives insight into Major Henry’s feelings throughout the whole plot. Henry allegedly explained to the undercover agent, “My point of view is, until the United States actually declares war against Russia, I’m able to help as much as I want. At that point, I’ll have some ethical issues I have to work through.” Gabrielian responded, “You’ll work through those ethical issues,” adding that he was a “coward” for being concerned about HIPPA violations.

At THAT point you’ll have some ethical issues to work through, huh? You’re providing personal medical information about high-ranking military service members to an enemy government specifically with the intention of exploitation, and you don’t think you already have some ethical issues to work through?!
