Remember how they told us there was no inflation, then they said inflation was “transitory,” then they admitted there’s inflation but tried to convince you it’s good, and now the White House is basically celebrating historically high inflation with an bill that will only produce more inflation? We see this progression a lot these days, where the left will patently deny a thing, then they’ll concede to the existence of the thing, then they’ll try to explain why the thing is actually good. And we’re seeing it again, this time regarding the “Deep State.”
Not so very long ago, the concept of a “Deep State” was considered a deranged and dangerous right-wing conspiracy theory meant to undermine democracy. But now they’re skipping to the part where they not only concede to the existence of the “Deep State,” but try to convince the people that it’s actually a good thing.
Here’s House Majority Leader and Congressional Representative for Massachusetts’ 5th District trying to turn the tables by vilifying Republicans for wanting to “eliminate” the “Deep State,” which he explains is a “cadre of professionals dedicated to honoring the Constitution and the laws of this country.”
House Majority Leader Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD):

Not only is it real, but it’s actually good because it’s a “cadre of proffessionals.” And by “cadre of professionals,” he obviously means career politicians who have spent literal decades tailor-making a system for them to most effectively manipulate for their own power and financial gain.

At least politicians can be voted out of office. The “cadre of professionals” who are not elected partisan lifers who work for/run the bloated overreaching and in most cases, unneeded government agencies are the true swap creatures. Somehow these creatures have been given the power to create regulations and redefine laws as they see fit.

Woodrow Wilson’s dream.
Our founders never envisioned un-elected tyrants and bean counters having so much control over the people. Corrupt and mismanaged government entities like the EPA, Dept of Education, FBI, Internal Revenue Service, CIA, etc, (none of which are found in the Constitution) ignore the rights of citizens, while trying to shield themselves from Congressional scrutiny.
There you go again, reading the Constitution. Too bad the executive branch, legislative branch and judicial branch do not.
I’m amazed that Stench-y Hoyer admits that something smells rotten in Denmark. He and his fellow leftist, elitist Democrats aren’t affected by inflation because they’ve got ill-gotten beaucoup bucks that leaves them wanting for nothing. Meanwhile John and Jane Lunchbox, (that’s us!) living on Main Street, USA are struggling to buy food, gas and everything else. On top of it, demands are being made that we must buy expensive, impractical electric cars that many of us don’t want, all for the sake of “saving the environment”. Meanwhile, the rest of the world laughs at us, while in some cases, enjoy a robust economy.
