Introducing New Writer Danielle

Hi Readers!

My name is Danielle, and I’m so excited to be a new writer for the Chicks! I have been a fan of theirs for years.  I have a degree in History and I am very passionate about politics.  When the writer position opened up, I applied immediately.  I love that the Chicks give their readers all the news updates, but with the perfect blend of humor and sarcasm.  I already spend my days ranting about politics, and sarcasm is my love language, so I knew it would be a good fit

I am originally from Pittsburgh, made a 9 year pit stop in Roanoke, Virginia, and now I live in Florida.  I always thought I wanted to move back north, but the last few years with the greatest Governor in the country made me realize Florida is where I need to be!  

I love to travel and see as much of this beautiful country, and other countries around the world, as I can.  I stay as busy as possible, because I can’t sit still.  I’m always on the move whether that’s traveling the world, the country, or just the great state of Florida.  I love amusement parks, board games, and watching sports.  I also love all holidays and any chance to dress in theme.  When I am at home, which is not often, I am parked in front of the tv or nose deep in a good book.  

With my History degree I had planned on becoming a Museum Curator; however, I have been a Paralegal for the last 7 ½ years.  Isn’t that how life works out? But I do currently volunteer at a local museum on weekends, so I guess I’m kind of putting that degree to use.  I just love learning as much about our great country as I can.  

I am so excited to be here and I can’t wait to get into some political issues and engage with you all!
