Fauci’s NIAID Spent $478K To Create Transgender Monkeys

While the country was experiencing a devastating pandemic, Dr. Anthony Fauci was awarding taxpayer-funded grants totaling $478,188 to inject male rhesus macaques with feminizing hormones in order to induce male-to-female gender transitioning in the monkeys. The project began in December of 2020, is set to run through November of 2022, and is intended to determine why transgender women (biological men who medically transition to women) have higher rates of HIV infection. The project description reads,

“Sadly, [transgender women] have some of the highest concentrated HIV epidemics in the world… A better understanding of how [female hormone therapy] impacts the male immune system may provide new insights into how to prevent HIV infection in [transgender women].”

If this experiment on monkeys seems potentially unethical, like so many of the projects Fauci funds, the person who might be able to answer your questions on the ethics is none other than Christine Grady, the chief bioethicist at the National Institutes of Health and Dr. Anthony Fauci’s own wife. She earned $238,970 in 2021, which OpenTheBooks Oversight Report notes is more than the Vice President earns in a year. How convenient for Dr. Fauci, who routinely funds and conducts ethically-questionable experiments, to have his wife be the one in charge of bioethics at the NIH.

The summary for the transgender monkey project, which received $272,626 during 2021 despite the COVID pandemic wreaking havoc on the American economy, and which has already received $205,562 in 2022, clearly indicates the embedded woke leftist agenda by stating,

“HIV/AIDS thrives in the margins of society, where low education, unstable housing, and poverty heighten people’s vulnerability to HIV. No population is more affected by these social injustices than transgender persons. A case in point is transgender women (TGW)- individuals who were assigned a male sex at birth but express their gender along a feminine spectrum… A key part of gender affirmation in TGW is feminizing hormone therapy (FHT).”

Fauci has come under fire for lying to Congress about funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the lab from which it is suspected the COVID-19 virus escaped. He’s also faced fierce backlash for a questionable experiment on 44 beagle puppies who were intentionally infected with parasites and then injected with experimental drugs until they were killed and dissected, as well as an experiment forcing seven beagle puppies to wear jackets that automatically injected them with cocaine combined with an “experimental compound” while tracking the drug interactions. Interestingly, a story just broke that Fauci has cancelled a $1.8M project to test allergy medicines on beagles as young as 6 months old. There are clearly very few lines this man isn’t willing to cross, and he somehow manages to sleep at night despite his obviously questionable ethics.

And this is the man chosen to be the face of the government’s COVID pandemic response.
