Carrie Underwood is a fantastic singer, and I’ll admit it. I’m totally leg jealous. I’m guessing running on the treadmill with a handful of candy corn in front of you isn’t part of her workout routine… (That might’ve just happened an hour ago…)
Despite her killer voice and overall #fitnessgoals, I’m not a big fan of her music. I blame that on my youngest sister. She’s obsessed with Carrie Underwood and will listen to her albums on repeat for hours. It’s been that way for years. If I hear “Two Black Cadillacs” again, I will SNAP.
GAH.
Again, nothing about her personally. My youngest sister just scarred me. That’s all. (Although I will admit that I totally try to hit the high notes during her Sunday Night Football song. Every Sunday baby. Add that to the ongoing list of reasons my neighbors hate me and probably dream of tackling me in the front yard.)
But for you Carrie Underwood fans out there, you should know something. She’s recovering from a “hard fall.” She took a tumble outside her Nashville home Friday night. She even broke her wrist. Ouch!
“While there were no life-threatening injuries, she was taken to the hospital to be treated,” her rep said in a statement. “She sustained multiple injuries including a broken wrist and some cuts and abrasions from the fall. Her recovery will take some time and she appreciates all prayers and well wishes.”
Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody…I’ll be alright…might just take some time…glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me.

On the bright side, it doesn’t sound SUPER serious. Although it’s bad enough that she’s missing the Country Rising Concert in Nashville.
Best wishes her way!
