NYT Thinks Virus Mostly To Blame For Biden’s Abysmal Approval Rating, Not Countless Failures

I get the funniest emails from the mainstream media. This morning’s email from the New York Times gave me a chuckle.

The virus. They’re going with the virus being the reason he has abysmal approval ratings. And they even have charts and graphs to prove it’s the virus’s fault that people don’t like Biden.

Tangentially, that may be true. A lot of the actual issues that have made people dislike Biden are related to COVID in some way. But it’s not the virus that’s has people mad. It’s the man. The administration. The policies. The lies. The failures. The bizarre priorities.

The failing economy and historic inflation from his terrible COVID response and reckless spending.
The rampant Orwellian censorship that really ramped up during COVID.
The failed border situation where Americans are forced to abide by COVID rules that somehow don’t apply to illegal aliens, and Americans forced to watch as their tax dollars are spent on lawbreaking illegals instead of citizens.
The billions spent on the Ukraine/Russia conflict while Americans continue to struggle (not COVID related).
America last energy policies that increase gas prices and make us dependent on enemies (not COVID related).
The endangerment and indoctrination of our children through damaging school closures, unscientific COVID policies, CRT, and gender theory.
The Afghanistan withdrawal debacle that cost billions of taxpayer dollars, caused the unnecessary loss of American and Afghan ally lives, left hundreds of American citizens stranded in a hostile country, and enslaved countless of women in their own home and country (not COVID related).

I mean, yes, COVID is a factor in many of the major issues. But it’s not the virus causing Biden to be unpopular. It’s his epic failures at almost every step in every situation, whether COVID-related or not. But I guess it’s easier to blame the virus than the administration.
