Audio Catches Officer Saying They Found A ‘Couple’ Of Laptops In The Vegas Shooter’s Hotel Room

We still have more questions than answers when it comes to the Las Vegas massacre. Authorities still haven’t identified a clear motive. We know Stephen Paddock lost a bunch of money in recent months, but there’s no way to know if that’s reason he committed such an unspeakable crime.

One crucial piece of evidence is still missing: Paddock’s laptop hard drive. That may hold the answers. According to the original report, Paddock removed the hard drive before shooting himself. Authorities also discovered that Paddock “purchased software designed to erase files from a hard drive.” It’s clear he was trying to hide something.

That brings me to this. Someone shared this video with us on Twitter, and we thought it was worth sharing, because there still are SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS.

In the video, the woman goes back to a “60 Minutes” interview with authorities. She found something curious. One officer describes the electronic devices they found. He said they discovered a couple of phones and a couple of laptops.

Hold. A couple? As she notes in the video, people usually use “couple” to describe two objects, but sometimes people use it to indicate even more. But in the very least, a “couple” indicates that there were at least two laptops. In that case, why are we only hearing about one? And if there is another laptop, is its hard drive missing too?

Perhaps this is nothing. Maybe he misspoke. I really don’t know. We just thought this would be worth sharing.
