Vallen King

Podcast Producer and Chick Whisperer

Before becoming the producer for The Chick’s on the Right show with Mock and Daisy, Vallen interned at the National Journalism Center and attended Towson University. She received her bachelor’s in Communications and Minor in Electronics, Media, and Film.

Although she is a producer at Radio America headquarters near Washington D.C., she didn’t stray too far from home. She grew up in Southern Maryland where her high school was surrounded by tobacco fields and her summers consisted of hanging out on the Chesapeake Bay. She’s already had spinal surgery and cancer so she’s pretty much indestructible (which makes her perfect to handle all of the crazies that come after The Chicks lol)! Aside from that, she is a 24 year old photographer, dreamer, world traveler, middle child to a family of five, and the lucky best friend to many amazing people.

She was drawn to Mock and Daisy for their ability to be light-hearted, blunt, comical, and just all around straight up about anything and everything! Life is already too serious, and The Chicks remind her to laugh a little, live a lot, and take everything with a grain of salt.

Danielle

Writer

Danielle is 5 foot nothing with a big personality. What she lacks in height, she makes up for in sarcasm. She needs coffee to live (maybe that’s why she’s so short?), and is for sure an old soul. If it came out before she was born, she has probably seen it, heard it, and loves it. She is a member of the International ABBA fanclub, so that really tells you all you need to know.

Danielle currently resides in Florida, aka DesantisLand (try not to be too jealous), although she is originally from Pennsylvania, right outside of Pittsburgh. She is obnoxiously close with her family. But they are just a lot of fun. Growing up in a sports town, she also really loves watching football and hockey.

She loves to travel as much as possible. She also loves a good themed party and will dress up in costume any chance she gets. She is a little obsessed with television (ok, a lot obsessed), loves a good book, musicals and romcoms, and trivia nights. Danielle may be a little competitive (a lot competitive) and is always down to play a board game. Also, she firmly believes that Christmas music is acceptable all year long if you are sad and need a little pick me up.

Danielle graduated from Radford University with a degree in History and a minor in Business. She loves America with her whole heart and believes it is the greatest country on the planet. She loves learning as much as she possibly can about our country and its foundation. With that comes a love for the Constitution and a passion for politics and wanting to keep our country the great place the Founding Fathers created.

Haley Myrick

Writer

By day, Haley works in healthcare marketing, but by night she does other things, because that is what well-rounded people do. These other things include running a freelance marketing business, talking politics with her friends and trying to decide what she wants to be when she grows up (she’s already grown up, so this is becoming an issue).

Haley was homeschooled until she was 16, and her mom will forever be the best teacher she ever had.

Haley graduated with a degree in Communications from Blackburn College, a small work college in Carlinville, Ill. While attending, Haley was the student manager of the Academics department as well as the editor-in-chief of the college newspaper, The ’Burnian. She was the sole conservative on the staff, so as you can imagine, her op-eds were a big hit with the professors.

While in college Haley met a nice, reserved, conservative man named Alex with an equally weird sense of humor. He married her in 2017, and the poor guy hasn’t had a day of quiet since.

In addition to her hairy husband, Haley also has a dog named Bradley Pooper and a cat named Hugo Clawvez. Hugo is very fat. And Brad is roughly five years of age but has a face as old as time.

When she’s not busy naming her pets ridiculous things, Haley enjoys watching her favorite TV shows over and over (because she can’t bring herself to pick something new), going out to eat (because she hates cooking) and going for walks (because it’s still free #inflation).

A fun fact about Haley is that she’s missing an organ—no, not a pipe organ. Like an internal one. But she’s doing just fine without it, thanks for asking.
