Corey Feldman went on the ‘Megyn Kelly Today’ this morning to discuss Hollywood pedophiles and his hopes to expose many of them in an upcoming documentary.
(Which he wants your money to help make, by the way.)
Interestingly, he has a few things to say about Michael Jackson.
The 46-year-old actor would not name names, but did say that he told police about these predators over two decades ago while being questioned about his friend Michael Jackson.
‘In 1993, I told the Santa Barbara Police Department, when they came to interrogate me about Michael Jackson, when they came to convince me that he was a pedophile. And I said he’s not,’ said Feldman.
‘And I said, “I’ve been molested.” They said, “by who?” I said, “I can give you the names, here they are.” And they said, “that’s not our area. That’s outside of our community.”‘
The Santa Barbara Police Department did not respond to a request for comment.
As I mentioned, he’s trying to fundraise $10 million before he makes his exposé.
For what? He addresses that.
A good deal of that money will go towards security said Feldman, a cost he justified by claiming he had almost been killed just the other day.
‘The most important thing is that I have security. Somebody tried to kill me the other day. I’ve been arrested. This is no joke. I’m fearing for my life,’ said Feldman.
When Megyn pressed the actor on his near-death experience, he stated: ‘I had two trucks come speeding at me at the same time.’
He quickly added: ‘I’m not saying they were trying to kill Corey Feldman. But they were trying to kill a group of people walking across the street.’
Wait… am I missing something?
He’s saying he needs security because people are trying to kill him… but also not actually trying to hill him? He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time?
What will extra security do about that? And how is that related to exposing pedophiles?
I find this all very confusing.
Megyn also asked Feldman if he went to police in Los Angeles back in 1993, after the Santa Barbara officers allegedly dismissed his allegations.
‘I didn’t. When you’re a kid, 18, 19, 20-year-old kid, you try telling the police, which is a very big thing to do. And especially, it wasn’t my situation. I was just answering for a friend,’ said Feldman, who has long claimed the sexual abuse and assaults endured by his best friend Haim were far worse than his own.
‘The fact I had the courage to throw it in there and hopefully get some support, and then they were like, sorry. They just shut it down like it didn’t matter. And this is when it was within the statute of limitation. It was within my ten years.’
He had previously told Matt Lauer in an interview earlier in the day: ‘If I were to go to the police, I would be the one who’s getting sued. Henceforth, I need a team of lawyers, I need a team of security to be around me at all times to keep me safe so I can get this message done. I vow I will release every single name that I have any knowledge of, period.’
Hmm…While I had my doubts about the “people are trying to kill me” claim, this does make sense to me. Corey could reveal the names and then immediately get sued for defamation.
He did, however, provide SOME clues into those he’s accusing:
Feldman did provide some clues as to the identity of one of his alleged molesters on Monday, saying he used to run a club for children and now works for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
‘You want to tell us who it is, since you’re going to have 1,000 stories trying to run down the person with that history,’ asked Megyn.
The actor said he could not name the person until her had ‘legal protection.’
Feldman also blamed the media and the police for the lack of movement on outing these pedophiles.
‘There’s other names, again, I’ve told these names to the police. I told the names to investigative reporters. Nobody has ever put it out there,’ said Feldman.
‘They cover it up. They protect it. I know of a friend of mine that actually went and spoke to a reporter and gave all the information and they were — the day before I launched my campaign, they were supposed to put out a story in the [National] Enquirer.’
Feldman thinks that things are starting to change however in Hollywood.
‘I believe there’s a lot of darkness in Hollywood right now, and I believe it’s been there for quite some time,’ said Feldman.
‘It’s going to continue unraveling. This is just the beginning, it’s just the tip of the iceberg.’
Corey Haim’s mother thinks Feldman needs to go head and release the names, $10 million or not.
“Meanwhile, the mother of the late Corey Haim, who was Feldman’s best friend and a victim of these same pedophiles, is demanding that the actor just come out with the names.”
But the fundraising campaign continues….
Feldman launched his $10 million campaign last week, hoping to gather those donations in the next two months so that he can make a feature film about his life which would reveal the ‘predators’ who went after him and other young actors in Hollywood.
He had raised just shy of $160,000 as of 8am Monday morning.‘This is much bigger than raising finance for a film, this is about the balance of Good and Evil in very real terms,’ wrote the actor’s wife Courtney on the fundraising page.
‘Ever since Corey announced he was working on a plan to come forward with more information, he has been arrested, had a near death event, and his band quit with no explanation other than saying they were afraid to continue.’
The arrest was for marijuana possession on October 21st, and he has already admitted the “near death” event wasn’t aimed at him.
So…. is he credible? Or is he trying to make some cash on the shoulders of sexual abuse victims?
