The Las Vegas sheriff is now claiming “we may never know” a motive for the horrific shooting that left 58 people dead and another 500 injured.
If you ask me, that’s a load of horse manure. It seems pretty early to give up, doesn’t it? Also, given that they seem to be changing the story of what happened on a DAILY BASIS, I don’t think they have any of their facts straight yet.
OR….there’s a lot they’re not telling us.
What they ARE telling us is that the shooter had a “normal brain” according to autopsy results.
Doctors have begun Stephen Paddock’s autopsy — with an examination of his brain revealing no abnormalities on Tuesday, according to police.
Little is known about the 64-year-old retiree’s mental health, but his brother had previously told reporters that he was hoping authorities would find “a tumor in his head” in the days following his Las Vegas massacre.
Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo says this wasn’t the case, though.
Speaking to the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Tuesday, Lombardo described how Paddock’s autopsy — while still in its early stages — had not shown anything abnormal.
“All those things that you would expect to find, we have not found,” he said.
Doctors reportedly examined Paddock’s brain and discovered nothing that stood out, despite his brother’s wishes.
“We may never know” why Paddock chose to kill 58 people and injure more than 500 more, Lombardo said. But investigators are reportedly making progress each day.
The wealthy real-estate investor has been described by family and friends as someone who was smart — and in no way crazy.
Anyone who maintains this freak was “in no way crazy” is a little off themselves…
Anyway, that’s the latest. I don’t think they’ll tell us what they know quite yet…
