I’m really, really, REALLY not in the mood for this. How many times do we need to say it? More laws do not prevent murderous criminals from committing LAWLESS attacks. Guess what? Murder is illegal. That doesn’t seem to stop murderers.
Whether it’s a gun, knife, truck or explosive, those with the insatiable desire to terrorize will. They’ll find a way. Gun control is not the solution. I mean, Piers Morgan, Hillary Clinton and Shannon Watts are whining about the NRA. The NRA had NOTHING to do with this attack. Heck, Shannon Watts is straight up encouraging people to stand up against suppressors (or “silencers”) and concealed carry reciprocity.
Tell Congress to vote no on @NRA priorities: silencers & concealed carry reciprocity

What does that have to do with what happened? If she’s going to exploit a tragedy, AT LEAST try to connect it to the Actual Tragedy. She’s just shamelessly promoting her anti-gun agenda here.
Hillary’s doing it too.
The crowd fled at the sound of gunshots.
Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get.

Yeah. About that…
Hillary’s tweet on “silencers” is based in abject IGNORANCE–a silencer on an AR-15 doesn’t “silence” & would degrade the barrel.

2) Silencers don’t actually “silence” guns. They reduce the level of noise and wouldn’t be compatible with fully automatic weapons.

Firing full auto causes silencers to melt. Do research before you tweet misinformation in the middle of a crisis. Thank God you lost https://t.co/V4PibVnbvj

Liberals can’t stop. They’re obsessing over “silencers.” Which again…have nothing to do with what happened.
uhh you don’t need to be a “firearm expert” to think thru the implications of making it easier to obtain silencers. https://t.co/u884XEzUMZ https://t.co/7ZYyzp7pmt

It would be wise to ban assault weapons, high-capacity magazines and silencers. None of which is excessive. https://t.co/oaPIk4lbWO

There is a bill the GOP is pushing to legalize silencers. Can you imagine how many more would have died last night if that maniac had one?
— voize_of_reazon (@Voize_of_Reazon) October 2, 2017
As we mourn the tragedy is Las Vegas, imagine how much worse it could have been if we legalized silencers like Don Trump Jr wants to do.
— Derek Cressman (@DerekCressman) October 2, 2017
Praying will not help as long as people like YOU are bought by the NRA and promote guns and silencers. Hypocrite!!!!
— passivblock (@passivblock) October 2, 2017
Silencers should be getting harder to get not easier WTF. Can you imagine how many more ppl would be dead if that pshyco used a silencer??

The NRA and the GOP want to make mass killings easier by pushing HR367, to make silencers easier/cheaper to get. OPPOSE. #Newtown #Vegas

By the way, the bill they’re referring to is the Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreational Enhancement Act. Here are the details:
Rep. Jeff Duncan, R-S.C., introduced the measure in the Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreational Enhancement Act, the Hill reported. The provision calls for a less extensive and instant background check.
Duncan’s bill is reportedly dubbed the Hearing Protection Act. The debate was reportedly delayed after the shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise, R-La., in June in a park in Arlington, Va.
Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., reportedly said it seems that sportsmen “have to choose between damaging their hearing and being able to hunt, shoot, target practice.”
You can say what you want about that particular bill, but at the end of the day, it has nothing to do with what happened in Vegas.
