Sarah Huckabee Sanders bravely appeared on The View today. Sanders is making the rounds to promote her new book, Speaking for Myself: Faith, Freedom, and the Fight of Our Lives Inside the Trump White House. Don’t miss Sanders next week on the Mock and Daisy’s Common Sense Cast.
Today, Sanders was under attack and there were fireworks! Predictably, the liberal hosts ganged up on Sanders and did their best to stop her from answering the questions asked.
No surprise @TheView tried to cut me off when I started exposing the pattern of unchecked mob violence in Democrat-run cities…

Sunny Hostin: This is not Joe Biden’s America. This is Trump’s America. This is happening under your president’s watch.
Sanders: In Democrat run cities! Every place that you see these major incidents and these riots, it’s in Democrat-led cities. And it’s not like they just became Democrat-led cities, they’ve been Democrat-run for decades. The worst places we have these problems is where Democrats have been allowed to lead. We’re finally starting to clean this mess up, starting to make things better. This is a president who has empowered the African American community. He’s done more than his predecessors. We have the lowest unemployment for black Americans, historic funding for HBCU’s, opportunity zones, criminal justice reform.
Newsflash to Sunny: Trump is your president too. Whoopie had a hard time hearing the truth, repeatedly exclaiming, “Oh my God, oh my God.”
The hosts kept cutting Sanders off to prevent her from fully answering questions. It’s a joke to call what they did an interview. The hosts were simply trying to ask “gotcha” questions and kept interrupting her responses.
And let’s be honest, these were not genuine questions. These were diatribes and attacks framed as questions.
For example, watch this clip and see that Joy Behar already had her mind made up.
Sarah Sanders refutes reports Pres. Trump made disparaging comments about fallen soldiers, but says she was not present for a 2017 incident, according to ‘The Atlantic,’ where Trump was with John Kelly at the grave of Kelly’s son, who died in Afghanistan. https://t.co/g1LM19Dwqe pic.twitter.com/qn6GbC6dxd

Meghan McCain, annoying as she is, at least is able to ask her question in a respectful way. She quizzed Sanders about The Atlantic story that alleged the president has repeatedly disparaged military members. I refuse to link to the “anonymous source” story which I firmly believe is B.S. If you want to read that drivel, Google it.
Most importantly, McCain allowed Sanders to answer the question. That’s a novelty on The View.
"That's not who this president is and that's not how he feels about the men and women who serve in our military," Sarah Sanders tells @TheView when asked about reports claiming Pres. Trump made disparaging remarks about fallen service members. https://t.co/j7OdNFV26I pic.twitter.com/pKW5lS5ahz
