Non- Gender Binary Lawyer Says It’s Illegal To Not Use Her Pronouns

Canada recently passed bill C16. Bill C16 seeks to add gender identity and gender expression into the list of protected groups by the Canadian Human Rights Act, prohibiting discrimination based on those grounds.

The enactment also amends the Criminal Code to extend the protection against hate propaganda set out in that Act to any section of the public that is distinguished by gender identity or expression and to clearly set out that evidence that an offense was motivated by bias, prejudice or hate based on gender identity or expression constitutes an aggravating circumstance that a court must take into consideration when it imposes a sentence.

Opponents of the bill argued that it would be used to police the pronouns used for people, but at the time, those people were painted as “right-wing conspiracy theory”

May I ask, if it’s illegal to call a trans person the wrong pronoun, is it also illegal to tease someone? Like, if little boys on the playground say to each other – You’re being such a GIRL! BILLY IS A GIRL! SHE WEARS DRESSES!

Theryn Meyer is a transexual person herself, and explains how moonbats like the person above truly make her life more difficult. I feel for her. These “representatives” of the trans community make people think that all trans people are out there trying to get people in trouble and rub their trans-ness in everyone’s face.

Theryn wants people to know that’s not the case. Her, and other more “conservative” transexuals, like Blaire White, have been very vocal AGAINST leftist ideas of being trans. I have a lot of respect for that. As I’ve said before, I think people who are full-blown transexual don’t do it by choice. Obviously they are going through something tremendously difficult, and I will base my opinions on them around their values and ideas, rather than just “being” transexual. Both Theryn and Blaire have proven themselves to be grounded, understanding individuals who aim to bring a new voice to the “trans” argument.
