This is a delightful moment, and it makes me so happy.
AG Barr did a great job in the infamous “I’m reclaiming my time” hearing the other day if you haven’t had the chance to watch his testimony you can get the recap here.
Last night Kerri Kupec from the DOJ caught the sweetest moment of AG Barr. Barr saw a group with signs showing support for law enforcement in front of a police station in Virginia. Barr reportedly asks his FBI protection detail to turn around and head back to the group.
AG Barr steps out and greats these folks to tell them how much he appreciates the support for our law enforcement.
“That time you’re driving in Virginia and the Attorney General spots a group of people in front of a police precinct showing their support for the police. AG to FBI Detail: ‘Can we make a quick U-Turn? I want to jump out and thank those people.'”
It is great to see the support for our police officers from our government officials, but it is even greater to see the support of everyday Americans. Our law enforcement officers need our support right now.
Could you imagine a better way to start a Friday?!
