This just in: Special counsel Robert Mueller has impaneled a grand jury in the Russia probe, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.

Mueller’s spokesman declined to comment to the newspaper, while President Trump’s special counsel Ty Cobb said he was unaware of the new development.
“Grand jury matters are typically secret. The White House favors anything that accelerates the conclusion of his work fairly,” Cobb told the Journal. “The White House is committed to fully cooperating with Mr. Mueller.”
As WSJ’s Del Quentin Wilber said, this doesn’t mean someone is being charged with a crime.
