Heartbreaking Moment Of A Woman In NYC: ‘How Dare You Mayor de Blasio… You Can’t Blame That S–t On Trump’

Bill de Blasio has fumbled the response to coronavirus in New York City. There is no denying it. He has lost more people in his city than anywhere else in the United States.

New York City did not shut down when the threat was real.

The NYC Health Commissioner did multiple interviews saying that the risk to New York was low, and the message New Yorkers need to know is to go about their daily lives.

These policy decisions caused New York to become a HOTBED for infection. They held gatherings in one of the most populated cities in the United States.

I personally didn’t hear anything about ventilator shortages in New York until the middle of March, and absolutely nothing from Bill de Blasio on ventilators until March.

So his experts knew back in January that there was a respiratory virus making its way from China to the rest of the world. They knew this because Trump canceled any travel from China to the US.

Also, they were on National TV telling everyone they were aware of this virus. Not a single thing was done by the city, with millions of residents to start stockpiling gear to deal with a virus that weighs heavily on the respiratory system.

The Federal government hasn’t stopped trying to provide NY city with everything they need to fight the virus. They sent supplies, ventilators, medical professionals, and military hospital ships. They asked, and the Federal government answered.

While the rest of the world is trying to blame Trump for the coronavirus toll on America, a resident of New York City wants everyone to know the cases in her city can’t be blamed on Trump. These cases all lie at the feet of Bill de Blasio.

This woman absolutely destroyed a couple of different liberal talking points.

One, that African Americans all hate and blame Trump for the handling of coronavirus. And two, that mayors and governors have no blame in the lack of preparedness their cities and states were in when the virus took hold. This woman said many of us feel, and good on her for that.
