Bill Gates Says Criticism of China Is ‘A Distraction,’ Instead Criticizes the U.S.’s ‘Particularly Poor’ Response

If America wasn’t already skeptical of Bill Gates, this interview with CNN isn’t going to do him any favors.

CNN wants us to believe that the only leader in the world that is terrible is Trump. Forget holding nations accountable for the mess they passed onto the world. No, they want us to understand that China is excellent and would never intentionally send the rest of the world into financial ruin because America held them to task over their unfair trading practices.

Bill Gates, who has allegedly said some really wacky things about eugenics and sterilization, has been heavily pushing for one of his vaccines to “save” the world from coronavirus. The world was already skeptical of Bill Gates, and this is going to make it worse.

Even the most delusional among the Democrats can’t cover up the blatant fact that China lied, and people all around the world have died as a result. So if you have someone such as Bill Gates claiming that his vaccine is going to help, but in the same breath claiming that the allegations against China are just a distraction, it is no wonder more and more people are standing up in opposition.

Fareed: “How would you respond to the charge that, look the Chinese covered this up. They essentially deceived the rest of the world, and as a result, they should be held in some way responsible for this.”

Gates: “Well, I don’t think that is a timely thing because it doesn’t affect how we act today. China did a lot of things right at the beginning.”

Bill Gates then spends the next 45 seconds telling us how much better China and other countries were at getting testing into place and not causing economic depression in their country. He even takes a swipe at America, saying, “It’s sad that even the US, who you would have expected to do this well, did it particularly poorly.”

Did Bill Gates ever sit there and think that our initial response to coronavirus is a direct relation to China’s downplaying of the virus? They sent incorrect or limited information about the virus to the U.S. When we could have spent time developing tests, we were told it wasn’t a big deal at all. China’s hospitalization and death rate numbers are a complete farce, and this man wants us to stop using this as a distraction.

He really said that.

Bill Gates: “That’s a distraction. I think there is [sic] a lot of incorrect and unfair things said.”

It is time to take your ball and go home. Bill, the problem with the technologically advanced world you helped build is that it becomes harder for you to hide. People adapted and now use the technology you created to hold people like you accountable.

China lied, and people died.
