Former President Obama has been active on Twitter, blasting out his thoughts about the pandemic we’re all facing, and he’s also been very very very busy NOT endorsing his former Vice President Joe Biden.
I mean, Bernie dropped out yesterday, Joe’s the only dude left standing, and his VERY BEST FRIEND IN THE WORLD, as Joe would have us believe, hasn’t bothered to give him a shout-out?
Interesting.
Anyway, back to the pandemic. Obama tweeted this yesterday:
Social distancing bends the curve and relieves some pressure on our heroic medical professionals. But in order to shift off current policies, the key will be a robust system of testing and monitoring – something we have yet to put in place nationwide. https://t.co/evkTSrzReB

I’d love to see his plan for implementing a nationwide testing system. Let’s have it, Barry. (Insert all the rolling eyes here.)
Listen, I’m a person who has serious gripes about the current lack of testing. But I don’t blame Trump for that – I blame WHO for being SO BEHIND THE 8-BALL on how serious this pandemic was at the outset. I blame China for being a bat-eating, commie sh*thole and lying to us about the virus.
But in fairness, testing right now sucks.
Perhaps you’ve heard that my older son tested positive for Covid19. He’s still in the hospital. I was exposed to him in the Emergency Room a week ago Sunday. It’s why I’ve been broadcasting from my guestroom this week.
And we needed to talk about that whole fiasco, and testing as a whole, so that’s precisely what we did in this week’s Mock and Daisy Common Sense Cast. I figured, given that I was exposed directly, that I have a history of asthma, and that I’m considered an essential worker, it’d be a piece of cake to get a test.
But just listen.
Listen to “Ep. 36: Even Tigers can get the Coronavirus test – So Why Can’t We?” on Spreaker.
Yeah. There’s a problem with testing.
But the good news is that there seems to be nearly daily improvement. And I’m not sure what else Trump can personally be expected to do, or what Obama thinks he could have done better.
