SMH. So… how much did this former congressman get paid? What was the deal?
I would certainly question someone’s intentions who endorses a blatant liar… being the person who literally exposed those lies…
According to The Daily Wire:
Former congressman and civil rights leader Andrew Young, who served as the United Nations ambassador under the Carter administration, has endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden’s candidacy for the Democratic nomination for president.
Andrew Young announced his endorsement on Thursday but was the individual (perhaps one of several) who brought light to the false claims Biden made about being arrested while visiting Nelson Mandela in the 70s.
It’s not like Biden just had a slip of the tongue while speaking… he told this same story on three different occasions within the span of two weeks.
It’s almost as though Biden was modifying the facts (AKA – lying) in a pandering effort to relate to more diverse voters, which has happened on multiple occasions.
The New York Times even noted:
He regularly uses his remarks to try to connect with black voters, such as saying in Nevada and elsewhere that he was “raised in the black church.”
Also, remember when Biden spoke in a southern accent during the South Carolina primary?
Don’t worry, here’s a friendly reminder –

I’ll give him credit. It was certainly executed better than Hillary’s evolution of accents.
More from The Daily Wire:
“This day, 30 years ago, Nelson Mandela walked out of prison and entered into discussions about apartheid. I had the great honor of meeting him,” said Biden, reports the news agency [The New York Times].
“I had the great honor of being arrested with our U.N. ambassador on the streets of Soweto trying to get to see him on Robbens Island.”
“There is no chance I ever was arrested in South Africa, and I don’t think Joe was, either,” said Young, the person who Biden appeared to be saying he was arrested with while visiting the nation, reports the news agency.
“He took a trip with a CODEL [congressional delegation] in the ’70s, he was separated from the CBC [Congressional Black Caucus] members that he was traveling with at the airport when he landed,” said the deputy with the Biden campaign. “When making that remark, he was talking about his long record of fighting apartheid.”
